I’ve done some many photo shoots and styled them all myself, but this one felt extra! Extra special, extra meaningful. I knew the feeling I was going for, but wasn’t sure how to bring it to life and at the same time I wasn’t feeling myself in my postpartum state and really wanted to love the photos enough to frame a large print for our dining room — eek! 

I kid you not, April took my vision and sent me this inspo. Pic starting with my outfit, all in the first try! I was in love with what she sent me and we worked together to create the rest of the looks from there. Not only was my outfit inspo. The perfect blend of wedding vibes and timeless, classic family photo material, and something I could wear and style over and over again, but it was so flattering on my postpartum body. I felt like I could celebrate self, in that moment as well.
